AnimeAngel4eva's Sibling Rule #5:
Don't hit your brother/sister after they saved your life!

Summary:

After surviving their boat ride at Hinode Pier, they are told to head over to Shiba Park where they will be able to get emergency supplies.
Mirai stomachs starts to ache as the need of having to go to bathroom increases. Mari and Yuuki thinks that she is hungry, and talks about how they'll be getting her food soon and such. With her bladder about the burst, their conversation about meals were not helping. Eventually, Mari figures it out and goes and get a "portable" toliet, which happens to be a bag - that Mirai instantly refuses to use except surrenders later after dodging a fight in line for the toilets.

Later while Mari tries to figure out the best root to get back to Sangenjaya, the two siblings sit down and take a break, while having snacks from the emergency supplies. Mirai continues attempting to recieve connection so that she can reach their parents, only once more fails.
Mari returns and tells them that they'll be able to get home soon, now that she found a route. Right after doing so and explaining the details, she tells the two children that she's just going to throw their empty bags in the garbage.

As soon as she leaves Yuuki continues to persitently asks his sister whether their parents are alright, is their home okay - which as results frustrates Mirai who tells him to stop asking her all these questions and tells him that he's the one to blame that they are stuck there in the first place.
Hurt, Yuuki tearfully explains that all he wanted to do was see the bridge that summer, and how he was thinking about her the entire time since it was her complaint that was a wish he wanted to fullfill without the burden of their parents. Devestated, Yuuki runs off.
Mirai shortly goes out to search for him, rather than waiting for Mari.

Eventually Marai finds Yuuki in a parking lot, and then is told how he wanted to go to Tokyo's Tower so that they can see if their home was alright. Shortly, he burst into tears and starts wailing how he wants to see their parents.
After being comforted by some elderly people - suddenly, the noise of something large snapping, and the sight of birds soaring into the sky as they cry; the two siblings suddenly realize that the Tokyo Tower was about to collasp, right on to them. Imeaditely Mirai and Yuuki dashes for their lives, clinging to each other's hands, fearing to be seperated.

When it falls, the burst of wind from the shock of the fall whips out causing the two of them to lose balance and lose each other's hands, disappearing into the dusts where they call out for each other.
Suddenly a large piece of debrise is spotted by Mirai, who stares at paralyized in horror when she is suddenly shoved aside by her brother - who had narrowly, but sucessfully saved her from being crushed dead.
Mirai taps Yuuki who doesn't reply, begging him to stop fooling around and talk to her. Just when she thought he was dead for sure, he turns his head and tells her he's alright.
Furious but at the same time so happy - she hits him while scolding him from scaring her like that.

Back at the park, Mari tends Yuuki's minor wounds - luckily he only got a bump on the head. Mari tells them how worried she was, and says that they should stick to their plan of heading back to Sangenjaya, but before that they should get some rest at a high school where they will be sheltering at for the night.

Impression:

Damnit Yuuki, don't scare the living daylights out of your sister!!! T__T I mean seriously, I was getting all teary and by the time a single tear rolls down my cheek he THEN turns and tells us he's alright. *Hastily wipes away the tear*

Wow, god - this is so amazingly well done I'm like...I feel the terror, in fact - it scares me even more now about the results of a Magnitude 8.0 and the results of those aftershocks!
Tokyo's Tower - I had a gut feeling (while at the same time, it was quite ironic) that as soon as they mentioned about the Tower, I said, "Damn, just how bad is this going to turn out?" and then when the tower started falling I noted, "Why are people sitting next to a tower that has the potiential to fall anytime and crush them?" - well that'll definitely tell people to NOT sit next to towers or trees or whatever: basically find any wide open space as possible, where there would be less chances of being crushed.

I found the episode focused more of the development of Mirai's and Yuuki's relationship - which in this case is a good thing since Marai has to take on the role of being the older sister and having to deal with the younger one's insane amount of questions.
I guess, considering Mirai's character, she isn't the "hopeful" type of person who would tell younger children stuff like, "Don't worry, our house is fine - Mom and Dad are safe too, no need to worry!" - but since Mirai has Parents Complex and so little patience for her brother's questions, it just makes her into a moody, bitchy person.

We didn't get to see much about Mari, but I'm just going to theorize that the next episode (since we don't get any previews ; _ ;) that it may focus on Mari's character - but then again who knows.

I really like how Bones are making this show move in a realistic slow pace. Though I can't help but wonder if each episode going to be like a whole day or a whole day and half, OR two days - it sounds like their journey of getting home might take them about a month (30/31 days) if this is how it's going to proceed, then it's likely we'll get at least 25 episodes.

Anyhow, I'll be tuning in for next week!
